Primavie® Purified Shilajit

alpha life supplements

Primavie® Purified Shilajit is a patented extract of Shilajit, a resinous substance that is found in the Himalayan mountains and has been used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. Shilajit contains numerous beneficial compounds, including fulvic acid, humic acid, and minerals, and has numerous health benefits.

Improves cognitive function
Shilajit has been shown to have a positive effect on cognitive function. In one study, healthy adults who took shilajit extract for 12 weeks showed improvements in cognitive function and memory compared to a placebo group (1).

Supports testosterone production
Purified Shilajit may also support natural testosterone production. In one study 250mg of Shilajit twice per day increased free testosterone by 23% and total testosterone by 19%, compared to a placebo (2).

Increases energy and endurance
Shilajit extract may help improve energy and endurance by increasing levels of ATP, the body's primary energy molecule. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 63 healthy adults found that Shilajit extract supplementation increased levels of ATP and improved exercise performance (3).

May have aphrodisiac effects
Shilajit has been traditionally used as an aphrodisiac. In one study, men who took shilajit extract for 90 days showed improvements in sexual function and sperm count compared to a placebo group (4).
